Dear Parents/Carers,

A reminder there will be an August Summer School meeting on Tuesday at 9.45. A link to the meeting can be found below:

Dear Parents/Carers,

The end of the academic year is fast approaching and there is still much to squeeze into the final couple of weeks or so. As mentioned last week, we have a couple of activity days planned in the final full week. Unfortunately, we are now no longer able to run a whole school Sports Day on the Friday, so the PE Day will include some of the Sports Day events that students would have normally taken part in. The revised programme is below. Many thanks to those of you who have donated to help cover the costs of the two activity days. If you haven't yet and are able to, you can still donate via Parent Pay.

Dear Parents/Carers,

A member of our nursery staff has tested positive for Covid today. Due to the difficulties of social distancing in a nursery Public Health England have advised us to close the nursery next week (until 5th July). For those of you who aren't aware, our nursery sits within its own bubble within the school (with its own entrance). Contact between nursery staff and our students is therefore very rare, so despite its closure we will continue to operate as a school as normal.

Dear Parent/Carer,

Normally at the end of the summer term we collapse the usual timetable and run Challenge Week - providing additional opportunities for students to broaden their experiences and develop their skills. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we haven't been able to run Challenge Week last year or this year. However, I am keen to do something for students, partly to say well done for getting through a tough year and partly because I think it will be good for their overall well-being and development. The activities we have planned are based around physical health and the great outdoors.
