Although this year has witnessed many changes in the educational world our students and teachers have faced the challenges with their usual enthusiasm which has produced a great deal of success. Many of our students will now be going to university, taking up apprenticeships or joining the world of work.

Gill Prichard, Director of Sixth Form said β€˜ I am delighted to see that our students have done so well especially in light of all the added pressures with all their exams being at the end of year now. They have coped with all these challenges and exceeded our expectations. I am so proud of them and wish them all the best in their future plans.’

This year our A level students have achieved outstanding results with 74 % A to C grades and an overall 99 % pass rate. Head teacher Donna Bryant, said: ’the 15% increase in the A*/B grades is particularly pleasing and once again most students have achieved the university place of their choice.’ Our vocational courses at both level 2 and 3 have had a 100% success rate with several candidates obtaining a merit or distinction. Yet again our students have shown that through their own hard work and support from their teachers, they have been able to achieve their potential.

Of those students studying A-levels there are a number who deserve particular praise for outstanding results. These include:
