High quality school meals are available at several points in the day. These are of very good value and there is a varied set meal available every day. The quality is high: many staff as well as students use the school's catering services daily. There is a different daily menu for three weeks.

Breakfast

In conjunction with Chartwells we are re-launching Breakfast Club which will be served from the New Hall (8am onwards). Breakfast is a really important meal of the day, giving students a good start to learning. This is especially important coming up to exams too. The deals and offers are listed below.

At morning break, a large variety of snacks are served from both canteens. At lunchtimes, the two canteens are used extensively. When the weather is good, take away meals are available: these are to be eaten in the designated picnic areas. Throughout the year, the catering team make available a wide range of hot and cold meals. Students have considerable choice but the best value comes from the set meal of the day.

Students are encouraged to drink water regularly. We recommend that students carry a water bottle with them: these can be filled in the canteens or at the various water fountains.

The school encourages students to adopt healthy lifestyles based on sound diet, appropriate exercise and a positive approach. The school holds the Healthy School Plus Award.
