Congratulations to Liskeard School & Community College Year 7 students Minnie Bauer and Melissa Zalick, who were named as winners in the SUEZ recycling and recovery bird/insect box competition.
Minnie and Melissa’s insect box was created as part of Liskeard School’s Technology House competition, where students were tasked with designing boxes from reused or recycled materials, with the motto that ‘less is more’ adopted.

The Team Liskeard echo Go Kart premiered at its first race in the Greenpower Challenge on Thursday 21st June, at Predannack Airfield. The team were thrilled to come fifth out of 30 teams in their first ever race, placing them 101st nationally.

After only a few lunchtime and after-school rehearsals, a dedicated team of three Year 10 students and twenty-one Y7 students from Liskeard School & Community College represented the school in a drama production of Macbeth at Falmouth University.
Liskeard School & Community College’s U18 Football Academy capped off a fantastic year of success at Home Park by winning the PAFC Satellite Cup for the second year in a row. This follows the team’s success in both the Satellite League and U18 Cornwall County Cup earlier in the year, where they won both.

Students from Liskeard School & Community College have been working with a local set designer as part of The Trench Bodmin, an immersive theatre experience telling the personal stories of Cornishmen who fought in the First World War.
