Two Year 12 students at Liskeard School and Community College have advanced through the internal heats of the ARTiculation speaking competition, a national initiative that promotes the appreciation and discussion of the arts.

The students, Nye Ullman and Rudi Harrison-Ward, delivered a ten-minute presentation on a work of art or architecture of their choosing, impressing the judges.

They now advance to the Regional Final, taking place at Plymouth College of Art on Tuesday 5 February. The students are two of only six candidates selected from across the South West!

The winner of the heat, which will be decided by acclaimed architect Jamie Fobert, will go on to compete at the Grand Final at Clare College, Cambridge University in March.

Best of luck to Nye and Rudi!
