Students from Liskeard School & Community College have been working with a local set designer as part of The Trench Bodmin, an immersive theatre experience telling the personal stories of Cornishmen who fought in the First World War.

The students spent three days during half term working with Alan Munden, set designer for Miracle Theatre and Pipeline. Students experienced the processes and practical application of working on a large scale for theatre first-hand, painting eight large portraits. These will be used to clad the trench that has been built in a field above Bodmin Parkway station as part of the project, which runs during June and July.
