Students had a send-off to remember as they returned to Liskeard School for the Year 11 Ball 2017. Proud families and members of the local community lined the school grounds in the Cornish sunshine and looked on with pride and delight, as the students arrived in their finest suits and gowns.

There was an array of vehicles on show including classic cars, sports cars, tractors and 1 group even turned up with their pet dogs in tow!

Students enjoyed a wonderful feast provided by Liskeard School catering partners Chartwells before dancing the night away. Students danced for the entire evening, staying until the very last second. They were even honoured to be joined by staff on the dance floor. Tom Parry wowed the crowds with his amazing break-dancing skills.

It was a brilliant and emotional evening as students and staff reminisced about their time at the school. Assistant Head of Year Rachel Harris said “It was a great evening. Everyone stayed right to the end. They danced the night away.”

Head of Year Andrew Glasgow added “We wish them every success for their future pathways.”

We look forward to welcoming back students to our Sixth Form next year but wish everyone all the very best whatever paths they take in the future.
